Dr. Cong graduated from Korea National Jeollanam University with a Ph.D. in biopharmaceutical analysis, focusing on the relationship between growth factors and myocardial diseases such as diabetic cardiomyopathy, myocardial aging and myocardial autophagy, and liver diseases such as liver ischemia-reperfusion injury and liver fibrosis. He has published more than 50 papers in Nature Communication, Hepatology, Autophagy, Diabetes and Redox Biology. The international authoritative protein operation manual The Protein Protocols Handbook (Humana Press, New Jersey, USA) contains two protein detection technologies developed by himself. He has presided over many national, provincial and ministerial projects including 4 National Natural Funds and 1 sub-project of National 863 Program. He has published more than 40 SCI papers, including 30 papers as first author or corresponding author. He has applied for 18 patents, of which 10 have been authorized by invention patents.
